Riding with Aunt D. Dot   (2018) is an art film project bringing together personal narrative, radical imagination, and the Detroit city bus. A deeply collaborative work, the short film was co-created with artists Hanniyah Cross and Stephanie Blair Watts, directed by bree gant, and produced by Paige Wood. The project was made possible by a 2017-2018 fellowship award from Detroit Narrative Agency and community partnership with the Transit Justice Team at Detroit People’s Platform. The film is currently touring universities, galleries, and conferences, and the team is working on a podcast series with audio producer Erin Allen and sound designer Brandon Woods.
